Cada atleta que asiste a los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos de Tokio tiene su verdad por la falta de apoyo de las autoridades. El ministro de deportes, Sebasti\u00e1n Palacios solicito informes sobre la organizaci\u00f3n y entrega de recursos al COE. <!--more--><br \/>\nLa historia se repite. Juan Jos\u00e9 Caicedo lleg\u00f3 a Tokio 2020 como el primer ecuatoriano que compite en la rama de lanzamiento de disco, que es parte de la disciplina de atletismo. El atleta fall\u00f3 en dos de los tres intentos y no pudo avanzar a la final.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-10753 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/chasquideportivo.com\/ecrt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/juan-caicedo-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><br \/>\nEl registro fue de 57,75 metros. Caicedo reconoci\u00f3 que no pudo ir m\u00e1s lejos por la presi\u00f3n del momento al enfrentarse a grandes atletas del mundo.<br \/>\nLuego de la competencia, en un video difundido por \u00e9l, Caicedo cont\u00f3 que no ten\u00eda todos los recursos necesarios: \u00abEs lamentable que un deportistas miembro del grupo de alto rendimiento no tenga un m\u00e9dico, no tenga un fisioterapeuta, que tenga que venir a una competencia con cinco rupturas de gemelos en mi caso\u2026\u00bb<br \/>\nEl deportista asegura que el d\u00eda de su competencia, que fue tambi\u00e9n el de la velocista \u00c1ngela Tenorio, \u00abno hubo ni un solo dirigente ni un solo fisio antes de entrar a competir. No hubo un solo dirigente ecuatoriano de los muchos que han venido, que nos diga: vamos, fuerza, te apoyamos\u2026\u00bb<br \/>\nEl atleta dijo que se qued\u00f3 sin entrenador 15 d\u00edas antes de la competici\u00f3n en los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos, porque no le pagaron el pasaje y el uniforme adecuado a su talla. \u00abMientras traen a otras personas que nada tienen que hacer aqu\u00ed\u00bb, asegur\u00f3.<br \/>\nEstas declaraciones se suman a otras quejas de los deportistas ecuatorianos sobre el apoyo estatal que reciben. Despu\u00e9s de que Richard Carapaz se refiri\u00f3 a la falta de apoyo, una serie de reclamos han salido a la luz.<br \/>\nEl nadador Tom\u00e1s Peribonio expres\u00f3 su respaldo a las declaraciones de Carapaz. \u00abFue muy bueno que \u2018destapara la olla\u2019, pusiera el foco donde debe estar y dijera \u2018hay problemas\u2019.
